Head of Production
Having taken her degree at the École Français des Attachées de Presse in Paris in 2001, she worked for the American ad agency, McCann Erickson for a few years before moving to television production, working for Endemol France. In 2005, she became a producer of country reports for media from the NYT Magazine to The Economist, via the Oil & Gas Journal. The reports shine a light on booming economies such as Angola in 2007, Turkey in 2008, Kazakhstan’s Kashagan in 2006, Brazil for the pre-salt discoveries and Petrobras’ IPO in 2011 or Mexico over the energy and other reforms of 2014. From 2016 to date, the focus has been on innovation and the tech movement in Texas, Portugal and the UAE.
Mark Beresford
Writer
After graduating from the University of Oxford, Mark moved to Spain where he worked as a correspondent for Dow Jones Newswires and contributed regularly to the Wall Street Journal and later wrote for the energy newspaper Upstream. Now specialising in strategic communications for governmental organisations and multinational companies, Mark worked in the international communications department of the Rio 2016 organising committee and is based in Rio de Janeiro.
Miguel Duarte
HEAD OF DESIGN
Miguel is a designer by education with nearly 20 years experience as a creative designer and producer. He was the Creative designer for Google and Galp advertising campaigns, working both as a freelance and within agencies such as Young & Rubican. In the publishing world, he was the architect of the Mercedes magazine among other publications and national newspapers. With an acute sense of style and a 360 integrated approach to advertising, graphic design and publishing, he will lead the Creative design team for all advertisers.
